About Kayla

3rd Generation Race Car Driver

Kayla started racing at the age of 4 1/2 years old in 1/4 midget racecars. Now currently 15 years old and racing 305 Sprint cars and 600cc micro sprints throughout the Midwest.  Kayla has adapted quickly to the new challenges. Daughter of Sprint Car racer AJ Martin, and Grand Daughter of Stock Car Racer Don Martin and Micro Sprint Racers Dave Sams and Cyndi Whiteside.

Champion On And Off The Track

Multiple championships in 1/4 midgets, and involved in her community and school. Proven role model and ideal for brands to partner with.  She always takes the time to talk with and encourage others no matter how big or small the moment is.

Driven to Succeed

Kayla is constantly looking for ways to improve. She works out regularly to stay fit to be on top of her game. She plays 3 school sports during the school year to stay active (Basketball, Lacrosse and Volleyball). She also watches many races to see what others are doing to help develop her skills. On top of that you will frequently see her out in the race shop helping out with the car to make sure it is in race ready shape.
