More than just a Race Car Driver

About Kayla

3rd Generation Race Car Driver

Kayla started racing at 4.5 years old in .25 midget cars and later advanced to 600cc micro sprints. Now, at 17, she competes in 305 sprint cars throughout the Midwest. Kayla has adapted quickly to each new challenge and continues to grow in the sport. She is the daughter of sprint car racer AJ Martin and the granddaughter of stock car racer Don Martin, as well as micro sprint racers Dave Sams and Cyndi Whiteside.

Champion On and Off the Track

Kayla has multiple championships in QMA (.25 midgets)  and is involved in her community and school; Kayla is a proven role model and an ideal brand ambassador.  She always takes the time to talk with and encourage others no matter how big or small the moment is.

Driven to Succeed

Driven both in racing and in life, Kayla is constantly seeking ways to improve. She competes in basketball, lacrosse, and volleyball, keeping herself active and building the skills that translate to the track. She studies races from all levels to learn from the best, and she isn't afraid to get her hands dirty - often spending her free time in the race shop helping prepare the car for competition.
